Our story
It started with a bottle that didn't smell of anything.

We press wood-pressed cooking oils from single-origin seed, in small batches, at our own mill in Anaicut, near Vellore. Every bottle is glass, batch coded, and sold without a single additive — and nothing is pressed until it is ordered.
What we hold to
Four things we decided early and have not moved on
One seed, one bottle
No blending, ever. It is the easiest corner to cut in this trade and the hardest for a customer to detect.
Press to order
We would rather run out than sell you oil that has been sitting since last season.
Show the working
Batch codes, lab reports and an open door at the mill. Claims that cannot be checked are just advertising.
Say what it costs
Cold pressing yields less oil. We price for that honestly rather than quietly blending to hit a number.
An open invitation
Come and see the press
The mill is open to customers during working hours. You are welcome to watch a batch being pressed, look at the seed going in, and take a bottle straight off the line. Email ahead and we will make sure a press is running when you arrive.
Ready when you are
Taste oil that still smells like the seed.
Tell us what you cook with and we'll send the next press. If a bottle arrives damaged, leaking or wrong, tell us within 7 days and we replace or refund it.
